McGowan-Delihant House
One of Galena's oldest surviving structures, the McGowan-Delihant House at 901 Fourth Street was built about 1845 to be used as a boarding house.
After receiving the house as a donation from Robert J. Prata, Esquire, of Los Angeles, California, The Galena Foundation has sold the house to a private party who have already begun cleanup and rehabilitation. The new owner's intend to start a blog so people can follow the progress as they bring this precious piece of Galena history back to life.
